VICE Magazine has been killing it for years now.  Taking on the controversial and putting out an excellent product.  Well, the VICE crew has now found itself a spot in the HBO family.  VICE will be the channel's latest news series and will cover a range of topics that typical news outlets might tend to avoid.  Check out the trailer and get your HBO subscription ready for April 5th.

We are excited that tomorrow will mark the start of the 2013 Miltown Beatdown producer battle that features 31 of the Midwest's best. Every Wednesday through April the Jackalope Lounj will once again play host to the newly formatted battle system.

If you're a live music lover like us this will be good news for you! We are now the official Milwaukee ticket outlet for all of React's shows here in the area. In the past you either had to order online or hope tickets were still available at the door...Not anymore! You can now purchase hard copy tickets, in person, here at the shop for most of their big shows.

Today we celebrate the birth of our in-house graphic designer, Michael! Mike rolls with the shop part-time while he holds down his gig as a tattoo artist at Cutthroat on Brady St. If he's not tattooing or making funny noises here at the shop, he's probably exploring or collecting somewhere in his Bayview neighborhood. If you happen to see Mike out this weekend, make sure you buy him a beer and maybe he'll tell you your fortune or let you stroke his beard!

This Saturday, February 9th Stonefly Brewery is hosting a very special tribute to legendary producer J Dilla called Raise It Up! This is a celebration of the life and music of Dilla created by Milwaukee DJ's Bizzon and Jank.
