On February 6th, The Highlands of Olympia put on their annual Chillfest, and let me tell you, it was one great time. Thank you to all the riders who came out to throw down in the slopestyle and big air events. Also a big thank you to everyone who came out and watched, chilled, ate pork sandwiches, or just shredded all day. And one last huge thank you to Matt, Dan, and Jenny from Olympia for putting on a great event and showing that a smaller local hill can do big things.
Epic turnout.

Jake Krason with air so huge it’ll melt your face off.

This girl had a camera following her all day.

…

This is what everyone stuck around for; the product toss. A picture can say a thousand words. Like, “Gimme that #$%@ t-shirt!”

Everyone who got some product from the toss can thank 686, Elm, Drop, Flux, and Stepchild for the swag.
I almost forgot about the cardboard box race. I had no idea, but this was a big deal, and the trophy was something to be coveted. Keef and I entered assuming nothing more than pure domination. We placed somewhere from not first and last. But hey, there is always next year.
